Frequently asked questions

What happens during a session?

During a session all you have to do is sit back and relax in one of our reclining chairs. A dry saline solution is then despersed through the air using a high performance air exhange system and as you sit relaxing and breathing normally the salt is inhaled into the airways which helps to reduce infalmmation and helps to expell excess mucus.

What do you wear?

Clients can come wearing their normal clothing, on arrival we provide shoe covers and hairnets for all clients to wear in our salt room to ensure that our rooms stay clean and hygenic.

How long does a session last?

Sessions last 1 hour, however if a child is aged between 6-18 months then the session will last 45 minutes.

What is the youngest age a child can attend for salt therapy?

Babies can attend from as young as 6 months, children aged between 6 and 18 months we have shorter sessions of 45 minutes due to the babies having smaller airways so they don't need any longer a session.

How many people can be in one session?

In both our adults and our children's room we don't book for more than 7 people in the room at one time. Our adults session has 11 chairs however we don't book more than 7 people so that the room doesnt feel over crowded. Group bookings are available for upto 11 people but please call us on 01463 417956 to discuss this. In the children's sessions a child must always be accompanied by an adult.

How much are the sessions?

We offer a complimentary free session for all our new clients. After the initial session we have a variety of packages available of all different sizes which are available depending on the needs of the client.

How long do the salt therapy packages last?

We don't expire any of our salt therapy packages, once they have been purchased all the sessions will be available until they have all been used.
